Schreiner MediPharm Develops Color Laser Film-based Label for Dental Carpoules

Oberschleissheim -- Specifically for use in dentistry, Schreiner MediPharm has now developed a label for dental carpoules. The specialty label is based on Color Laser Film (CLF) and provides an abrasion-resistant, permanent marking solution. The small-size labels can be laser-marked with variable information in an emission-free process and resist external influences.

The CLF label for dental carpoules by Schreiner MediPharm is used to mark the syringe attachments. It is suitable for the extremely small diameters of about five millimeters. The label is adapted to the required format and can subsequently be laser-marked with variable data such as batch numbers or expiration dates in an emission-free process. The laser beam penetrates a transparent laminate to expose the color reference layer underneath. This prevents the release of particles or gases during the chemical transformation. In addition, the laminate layer protects the text from mechanical, chemical or climatic influences. This makes the information on the label particularly durable and permanently readable without smudging.

Due to its thin design and flexible structure, the CLF label is perfectly suited for application to dental carpoules and firmly adheres to the syringe attachment. The label reliably informs the user of the composition of the content to support safe processing of the filling by dental personnel.
