Mapei Introduces Mapesil LM Low-modulus Silicone Sealant

The range includes Mapesil LM - a neutral, anti-mould, low modulus silicone sealant that is compatible with all delicate & absorbent surfaces including natural stone, travertine and marble. Mapesil LM can be used to seal joints on a wide range of substrates, including absorbent substrates sensitive to staining, such as concrete, wood, metal, mirror-glass and PVC. It is also suitable to use internally and externally on natural stone without staining stone surfaces to guarantee a long lasting attractive finish. Mapesil LM can create a flexible seal in expanding joints and fillet joints on facades.

Mapesil LM forms a high bond strength without the need of a primer whilst also creating an excellent resistance to severe weather and ageing. Available in 6 colours, Mapesil LM has BioBlock® anti mould technology to assist the prevention of mould to provide a long lasting aesthetic finish.
