for SMP products which offers elasticity, adhesive force, weather resistance, durability
and faster, guaranteed curing as well! This revolutionnary add-on system - Dual
SMP - delivers economic advantages and makes a giant leap forward in
terms of application and process development.
The shorter waiting and clamping times substantially speed
up the curing process, so tasks can follow on from each other more
quickly. Curing and the ultimate strength are guaranteed – not least because
the bond is no longer directly affected by external factors such as air humidity
and temperature.
Because Dual SMP cuts waiting times, assembly can be organised even more efficiently.
This considerably increases output and reduces the number of
operations. Advantages that really count when there are demands to
be met. But there are many more advantages besides...
With Dual SMP, curing is totally independent of the environmental humidity
(it can even be undergone at a relative humidity as low as 20%
or even at low winter temperatures).
Dual SMP also makes curing of large surface areas possible: when
moisture normally can not enter it is therfore possible to cure a one-component
system.
Dual SMP can be implemented virtually without the need
for adaptation, tests or analyses, and there is no need to replace existing
materials and products.
Dual SMP also offers manufacturers new perspectives. Such as in
the quest to reduce the weight of a vehicle, for example, or the desire to reduce
the number of vulnerable mechanical joints in general.
