Silicone PSA tapes, known as "Plater's Tapes", are used extensively in printed circuit
board assembly. Indeed these electrical components may be exposed to extreme temperatures,
high currents and high voltages.
High dielectric strength, good arc and corona discharge resistance, low dissipation factors,
resistance to electric current breakdown are critical key factors that Silicone PSA are expected to
provide within these applications. The ability to withstand exposure to high
temperatures for long periods is a critical key factor as well.
